Refusal to amend or renew licence
43The Registrar may refuse to amend or renew a licence in the following circumstances:
(a)
the Registrar is not satisfied that the licence holder is capable of conducting aquaculture in accordance with this Act and the regulations;
(b)
the Registrar has reasonable grounds to believe that the licence holder has knowingly made a false statement in the application or the accompanying documents or in any other book, record or document required to be maintained under this Act or the regulations;
(c)
after an inspection under section 68 or reasonable inquiry, the Registrar is satisfied that the licence holder has violated or failed to comply with a term or condition of the licence, a provision of this Act or the regulations, or a provision of aquaculture legislation; or
(d)
the licence holder has been convicted of a violation of a provision of this Act or the regulations or a provision of aquaculture legislation.
